E-learning program for pharmaceutical sales representatives in Canada
Services: Collaborate with industry subject-matter experts; collect data; create content outline and learning objectives; research; develop courseware
Requirement: Prior to the launch of a new pharmaceutical product there was a need for an e-learning program to train sales representatives who would be introducing it to their physician customer base. Designed course content and created French and English versions of courseware.
Deliverable: The e-learning program was published to CD and made available to the international sales force.

Requirement: There was a requirement for a series of e-learning programs aimed at transferring to frontline health workers the knowledge they needed to better understand the background, context and issues affecting marginalized urban populations.
Deliverables: Four web-based e-learning storyboards dealing with issues related to street-involved and marginalized youth, sexual/reproductive healthcare in vulnerable adolescent women, endocrine therapy for transgender patients, and healthcare for the homeless.

Requirement: Rx&D is the trade association of the Canadian pharmaceutical industry. Its member companies are guided by its Code of Conduct. There was a need to educate members on their responsibilities, accountabilities and commitments under the Code.
Deliverables: Storyboards for web-based interactive e-Learning program on the Code of Conduct. Produced several versions customized for individual pharmaceutical companies with internal codes of practice. Web-based publication and distribution.

Requirement: The Digital Simulation Laboratory (DSL) developed leading-edge 3D digital simulation technology for application in the Canadian engineering and architectural fields. The requirement was to produce a CD to promote its services to potential clients. The CD presentation used state-of-the-art Internet technology to demonstrate how DSL services had been used around the world and across the country for federal and provincial governments and private sector organizations. It also featured several new technologies such as virtual reality, sun and shadow analysis, wind and snow analysis, stereolithography, dynamic and static digital rotoscopy, and 3D web interfaces.

Requirement: The Burst Tool® is a proprietary technology developed by IsaiX Technologies, a Montreal-based learning technology company. The Burst Tool® brings static documents to life, makes the learning experience more engaging, and allows learners to retain more information in a shorter amount of time. Several of IsaiX's pharmaceutical industry clients needed to convert medical reprints into electronic training tools.
Deliverables: Animated documents which equipped pharmaceutical industry employees with quick reference tools for key marketing messaging.

Requirement: There was a requirement for a knowledge compendium that would provide a high-level overview of the landscape in which the pharmaceutical industry operates in Canada. The objective was to enhance the knowledge level of Pfizer sales representatives on issues that might arise during their conversations with physicians.

Smart application of road salt would mean changing behaviours and adopting new strategies and methodologies for dealing with ice and snow on roads. The Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) had identified a need for a learning guide to explain why operators and supervisors needed to change their methods and behaviours, and to reinforce the learning through self-testing exercises and role-playing scenarios.
